About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and exploration.
- Assess and document children's progress and communicate with parents regularly.
- Lead classroom activities that align with Primrose's curriculum and values.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the educational experience.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to assistant teachers and interns.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood setting.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth.
- Ability to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education.
- State licensing requirements for lead teachers must be met.
